Information Retrieval center

    The information retrieval center provides the teachers and students of the university with the following services: bibliographic information retrieval, Internet surfing, sending and receiving E-mails, e-books and e-periodical reading, multimedia reading, computer learning and application, computer information retrieval and utilization training etc..

Computer network services

    The entire library provides 1G bandwidth to access to Internet services; its storage system is made of advanced SAN optical-fiber architecture, with a total capacity of 14T. The library has built the NPU mirror sites of China Academic Journals(CAJ), VIP Journals, AD/NASA/SPIE fulltext databases, Wanfang Data, etc. The digital library platform provides readers with information service 24 hours a day throughout the year. Readers can conduct consultations, bibliographic searches, reservations, and renewals on Internet. The development of wireless access in reading areas is under way.
